Pre-Sales Executive
About the role
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Pre-Sales Executive to strengthen our sales operations. This role is a blend of CRM management, lead generation, data analysis, and sales strategy support. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in building and managing our sales pipeline, especially targeting USA-based product distributors, and enhancing the effectiveness of our outreach efforts.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and maintain CRM systems (preferably Zoho) in line with sales strategies.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of client data through routine audits and updates.
- Analyze calling data to assess territory success potential.
- Analyze existing client behavior within the CRM, and isolate telecallers accordingly.
- Conduct detailed research to build a database of single-store and multi-store product distributors in the USA.
- Collect and organize information from websites, social platforms, and industry directories.
- Identify relevant key decision-makers (e.g., Purchase Managers) and establish LinkedIn connections for outreach.
- Regularly monitor and evaluate telecaller performance by listening to and analyzing calls.
- Track conversion metrics and provide structured feedback to improve team effectiveness.
- Introduce accountability and performance pressures where needed to ensure goals are met.
- Create structured follow-up tasks and workflows within the CRM.
- Define daily or weekly KPIs for consistent lead follow-up until closure.
- Ensure timely and strategic communication with leads across different stages.
- Organize and deploy gathered data using Google Maps for territory planning and decision-making.
- Enhance visibility of distributor locations and market coverage for strategic targeting.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in sales support, CRM management, or data research.
- Freshers with strong analytical and CRM aptitude will also be considered.
- Proficiency or strong interest in CRM tools like Zoho or Salesforce.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn and social media for B2B lead generation.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Immediate availability will be preferred.
Preferred skills
- CRM Proficiency: Experience with tools like Zoho or Salesforce for data entry, campaign creation, and workflow management.
- Sales & Strategy Insight: Understanding of sales processes, lead funnels, and market potential estimation.
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to assess call outcomes, monitor performance metrics, and optimize sales approaches.
- Communication: Clear, professional communication for internal coordination and external lead interactions.
- Organization & Task Management: Skilled in maintaining structured workflows and timely follow-ups in the CRM.
