Vice President (VP) of Sales & Marketing
About the role
We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Vice President (VP) of Sales & Marketing to lead our sales growth, marketing initiatives, CRM processes, and customer experience functions. This role demands a high-energy professional with a strong record of leadership, people management, and cross-functional collaboration. You will report directly to the CEO and play a pivotal role in aligning sales and marketing efforts with company goals.
Key responsibilities
- Drive sales strategy and execution to meet revenue and growth targets.
- Set and monitor goals for the Sales & Support team.
- Identify new business opportunities and lead client acquisition efforts.
- Foster strong relationships with key clients and distribution partners.
- Optimize territory planning and client segmentation.
- Coach and review the performance of Sales Executives regularly.
- Oversee CRM usage, ensuring accurate and actionable client data.
- Collaborate with the CRM Specialist to monitor pipeline health.
- Use CRM insights to resolve funnel bottlenecks and improve processes.
- Train team members on best practices for CRM use.
- Develop automated workflows for lead management, deal tracking, and reporting.
- Supervise the Digital Marketing Specialist to align campaigns with sales objectives.
- Approve and evaluate paid campaigns (Google Ads, social platforms).
- Guide content marketing across email, blogs, and social media.
- Ensure marketing leads are seamlessly tracked within the CRM.
- Monitor key marketing metrics (CTR, ROI, conversions) and optimize performance.
- Define standards for high-quality and timely customer support.
- Drive improvements based on customer feedback.
- Ensure professional and responsive client communication by the Sales & Support team.
- Analyze recurring client issues and streamline internal processes.
- Implement systems to effectively track and resolve complaints.
- Report regularly on sales metrics, marketing ROI, and client satisfaction.
- Present quarterly updates on business performance.
- Share insights from competitive research and market trends.
- Recommend strategic shifts to enhance sales and marketing outcomes.
- Collaborate with the CEO on long-term strategy and planning.
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 2–4 years of experience in sales and marketing, with minimum 2–3 years in a leadership role.
- Demonstrated ability to drive revenue and manage cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in CRM tools like Zoho or Salesforce.
- Strong analytical mindset and data-driven decision-making.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
