Web Automation & AI Engineering Intern

About the role

We are looking for a Web Automation & AI Engineering Intern to join our team at TrueNorth GTM. This role is ideal for students or early-stage developers who are excited about automation, AI tools, APIs, and modern web technologies.

As an intern, you will work closely with the engineering team to build automation workflows, AI-powered solutions, internal tools, and scalable web applications. You'll gain hands-on exposure to real startup projects and modern engineering practices.

Key responsibilities

• Help build and maintain business automation workflows.
• Assist in creating AI agents and AI-powered solutions.
• Work on website development and internal tools.
• Integrate APIs and third-party services.
• Support browser and workflow automation tasks.
• Debug and improve existing systems and features.
• Collaborate with the engineering team on product development.
• Research and experiment with modern automation and AI tools.

Preferred skills

• Strong problem-solving mindset.
• Interest in AI tools and workflow automation.
• Familiarity with React.js or Node.js.
• Basic understanding of APIs and backend systems.
• Exposure to browser automation tools like Playwright or Puppeteer.
• Experience with personal projects, hackathons, or small web applications.
• Fast learner with curiosity to explore new technologies.

Required qualifications

• Pursuing (last year student) or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Exposure to TypeScript, MongoDB, or backend development.
• Basic understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub.
• Understanding of APIs and HTTP requests.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
